This recently discovered clumping species from China has yet to be officially published, so you are getting a rare advanced opportunity to grow the newest of the new. Related to the also rare, E. sagittatum, this new epimedium has dark green glossy foliage which is evergreen from Zone 7 south. The leaves are lightly mottled with rose markings in spring, then topped in spring with stalks bearing up to 100 of the tiny airy yellow flowers.
