This stunning groundcover epimedium was originally from Japan via George Schenk, then on to Harold Epstein, where this selection was named in the 1970s. This vigorous, deciduous selection spreads more by runners than typical Epimedium grandiflorum. The large, creamy white flowers appear first in spring then, as they fade, are hidden by the distinctive long arrow-shaped leaflets.
