If you are looking for something new to try in bananas, the snow banana from up to 8800' in elevation in the Himalayas is for you. Virtually never before seen in cultivation, we are glad to share a limited quantity of this rare gem. The 10' tall, thick bluish trunks support the giant bluish green leaves. Although Ensete glaucum does produce bananas, we are uncertain of their edibility. What we do know is that the blue cast of the plant makes this a stunning ornamental banana for the garden...get 'em while they last.
