(aka: Dryopteris lacera USNA 54850H) Dryopteris 'Korean Lace' is a 2023 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a strain of the semi-evergreen Asian fern, Dryopteris lacera (China, Japan, Korea, Taiwan between 6,000' and 8,000' elevation). Our plants are spore grown of a selection from a 1985 US National Arboretum botanical expedition to South Korea. In our garden, Dryopteris lacera 'Korean Lace' forms a tough, easy-to-grow 18" tall x 30" wide, evergreen clump of lacy green foliage.
