This amazing new dwarf hybrid is a rare three-way cross between the East Coast D. eximia, the West Coast D. formosana ssp. oregana, and the Japanese D. peregrina. The result of this extensive crossing by the late Marion Ownbey of Washington is a vigorous clumper with stunning finely cut blue-green foliage, topped all summer with dazzling fluorescent cherry-pink heart-shaped flowers. This is an absolute winner for the woodland garden!
