Cyclamen persicum 'Turkish Delights' is our special offering of what has so far, been a winter hardy wild strain of Cyclamen persicum from a Turkish collection. Cyclamen persicum is best known as the florist cyclamen, which you often see and can quickly kill from the big box stores. Cyclamen persicum 'Turkish Delights' is a very different critter, having overwintered fine in our gardens during the winter of 2018/2019. The small, round, dark green leaves are beautifully patterned silver. The clumps, which emerge for us in fall (NC), are topped, starting in late winter with short spikes of dark lavender pink flowers. As with all cyclamen, the key to success is planting them in an area that stays relatively dry during the summer dormancy period.
