Crinum 'Sunbonnet' is a hybrid from the late Tom Perry, that produces very wide leaves as well as massive 3.5' tall flower spikes, starting in early July and continuing sporadically into October (NC). Each spike of Crinum 'Sunbonnet' is topped with 13-15 flowers which emerge as dark burgundy buds before opening reddish-pink.
