This crinum is native to the Eastern Cape of South Africa, and makes a large clump of wide, glossy green foliage. Starting in early July (NC), the clumps are topped with 2' tall spikes of soft pink, fragrant, goblet-shaped flowers. Crinum moorei is atypical in that it prefers to grow in light shade.
