Crinum 'Merry Me' is a Plant Delights selection from a cross of Crinum bulbispermum x Crinum variable from Indiana's Jim Shields. Crinum 'Merry Me' makes a compact clump of glaucous blue, deeply-channeled foliage, topped, starting in early July with 3' tall spikes, topped with clusters of 11-15 outward-facing, widely-flared, tubular light pink flowers that are heavily striped burgundy. As the flowers become pendant, they also intensify in burgundy color. Crinum 'Merry Me' is a superb rebloomer through the summer months.
