This J.C. Harvey hybrid of C. moorei x C. zeylanicum from the 1900s has become quite popular due to the fact that it multiplies nearly as fast as many of our favorite garden pests. The heavily ribbed, glossy green leaves are a nice background for the 30" stalks of flowers that appear in early July. Each flower stalk contains 6 or so large, clear pink flowers that contrast nicely with the darker reddish-pink flower buds. This is certainly one of the easiest and most prolific of the crinum hybrids...no wonder it is so popular!
