Crinum 'Massey's Pride' is a wonderful selection of the old hybrid Crinum x goweni (Crinum bulbispermum x Crinum zeylanicum) grown by the Massey family of Texas and later spread around as an heirloom. Crinum 'Massey's Pride' begins flowering for us in early July and continues through August. The 3.5' tall stalks are topped with 11-13 flowers each. The sweetly-fragrant flowers emerge white with pink central stripes, age to pure white, and are highlighted by unique, strongly recurved petal tips.
