Crinum x digweedii 'Jennifer White' (Crinum scabrum x americanum) is a "found" crinum, discovered by crinum collector Nestor White of Florida and subsequently named after his daughter-in-law. For us, Crinum x digweedii 'Jennifer White' has proven to be a vigorous growing, fast-offsetting clone with very glossy foliage (from the Crinum americanum parent) and topped with 30" tall stalks, each ending with six or more large, very fragrant white flowers, each subtly central-striped pink...most visible on the petal back. For us, the heaviest bloom season on Crinum 'Jennifer White' is August through October.
