Crinum 'Cheers' is a 2019 Plant Delights/Juniper Level Botanic Garden introduction of our seedling selection from a cross of Crinum variabile x Crinum bulbispermum made by Indiana's Jim Shields. Crinum 'Cheers' is one of the most stunning crinum lilies that we've grown. It starts flowering for us in mid-August with sturdy 30" stalks, each topped with 16-18 tubular flowers, white on the inside and backed with a burgundy flush and with dark burgundy keels. The flowers emerge horizontal, then become pendant with age, like many of our own body parts.
