This is certainly the hardiest and most durable of the group of crinum lilies. The tapered blue foliage to 2' in length erupts from the center like lava from a volcano. In the wild, they are found as both bog- and edge-of-river denizens. Sweetly fragrant star-shaped flower clusters top the plant in early spring and early fall, although some repeat flowering in the summer is to be expected. Flower color can range from pink to red and white mixed...our plants are unflowered seedlings.
