From Mt. Omei, China, via Elizabeth Strangman, comes this superb and surprisingly easy-to-grow blue flowered corydalis. While the Corydalis flexuosa groups require special attention to perform their best outside the cooler climates of the Pacific Northwest, C. elata loves the heat of the East Coast. Our 5-year-old clumps in rich woodland soil are 2-3' wide x 15" tall. The FRAGRANT deep blue flowers are borne atop the fleshy green foliage from spring through summer...superb!!!
