    Cortaderia 'Silver Fountain' is a superb inroduction from English nurseryman Peter Catt is similar with a color to Cortaderia 'Silver Stripe', but the foliage reaches 6'+ tall, and the base of the clump has a nice purple cast. The striking white and green striped leaves make a stunning backdrop to the summer-borne plumes that perch 2' above the clump. Our 20 year old specimen is absolutely stunning and has never produced a single seedling.
