This hybrid between the US native C. verticillata and an unknown parent (probably on the run) is a past winner of the PPA Plant of the Year honors. It is prized for its soft creamy yellow flowers which are produced all summer atop the soft needle like clumps of foliage...slowly spreads to make a thick mat... a winner! C. Moonbeam is great combined with blues, greys, and greens in the border!
