We had nearly given up on growing Coreopsis grandiflora cultivars in our hot, humid climate until we tried C. 'Mayfield Giant'. As the name implies, expect 3' tall x 3' wide clumps that are topped from May through September with huge, 3", golden yellow flowers. Good drainage and baking sun are important for best performance.
