This is one seriously odd fern...heck it's even odd for a coniogramme, which itself is pretty odd. Coniogramme 'Rasha' was discovered in Toyama Prefecture, Japan...perhaps on a nuclear waste facility. The 18" tall fronds, bizarrely distorted like a fern after rigor mortis, emerge from a slowly spreading rhizome. To quote President Abraham Lincoln, "People who like this sort of thing will find this the sort of thing they like."
