(aka: C. 'Kivireim') This 1987 introduction comes from breeder Uno Kivistik of Estonia and is named in honor of Rudolph Reiman, another Estonian clematis breeder. The 5' tall vine is adorned starting in early summer with 5" dark purple flowers, highlighted by a red-violet flush...most visible with cooler nights.
