(aka: Leucanthemum 'Frosty') South Carolina plantsman Ted Stephens discovered this unusual hardy mum at a Japanese plant consignment shop a few years ago and subsequently named and introduced it to the trade. The typical chrysanthemum-shaped foliage is heavily frosted with white when the weather is cool but fades a bit in the heat of summer. The 1' tall x 3' wide clumps are topped in early fall with small pink daisies. Wouldn't it be nice if all plants were variegated?
