    C. muskingumensis is already one of our favorite sedges, and you know how much we love variegation, so when we heard about combining the two... well, we couldn't resist. This Terra Nova introduction takes our native palm sedge and adds a stripe down the center of each leaf. The variegation is prominent in early spring, then disappears with the arrival of hot temperatures. C .'Ice Fountains' is great when used as a specimen plant in moist sites, such as near the edge of a garden pond.
