We are pleased to present this exciting new variegated form of the popular sedge, Carex 'The Beatles'. This selection by Alan Tower of Spokane, WA makes a 1' wide clump with very dark black-green foliage bordered in gold. This slow spreading sedge makes a dense groundcover that is best in moist soils. While it is native in alkaline grasslands, it seems to adapt well to slightly acidic soils as well.
