We are pleased to offer a new series of calanthe orchid hybrids from the work of Japanese breeder Mr. Kojima, who crossed four hardy orchid species together: Calanthe discolor, Calanthe sieboldii, Calanthe aristulifera, and Calanthe tricarinata. Our offering consists of selected seed-grown, flowering-sized plants, each with stalks of red to russet-orange flowers highlighted by a white/yellow throat. The large, pleated, green basal leaves serve as a nice backdrop for the 10" tall flower stalks in mid-April (NC).
