This stunning sport of Boehmeria 'Glow Light' makes a dazzling specimen in light shade/morning sun. When grown in rich organic soil, Boehmeria 'Solar Eclipse' can form a 2' tall x 6' wide mound in only 2 years. Each golden leaf is adorned with a central streak of dark green. Due to the unstable leaf pattern, expect some leaves to be solid gold. The pipe-cleaner like tan flowers in summer are most unusual.
