(aka: HH99AH047) Baptisia 'Little Texas' is a particularly nice dwarf form of Baptisia leucophaea that Hans Hansen found on our 1999 botanical expedition to Oklahoma and Texas (5 days before the F5 twister hit the same area). For us, B. 'Little Texas' makes a rock garden size clump to 8" tall x 16" wide. The arching branches of fuzzy green leaves end in pendant clusters of creamy yellow flowers. For us B. leucophaea is the first baptisia to flower...usually in late March or early April.
