    We're testing this new Astilbe chinensis hybrid from Holland's Henricus G. J. Verduin. Typically, the A. chinensis types fare very well in our hot, humid summers, and we hope these are no different. A. 'Stand and Deliver' makes a 2.5' tall clump of attractive, dark green foliage, topped in early summer with tight spikes of rosy-pink flowers.
