This recent aster selection is from the breeding program of the late Ed Wood of Portland. It makes a stunning compact clump of clean, dark-green foliage, topped in August and September with sprays of medium-pink flowers with yellow centers. A. 'Wood's Pink' is best used in the front of the border or as an edging plant.
