We are pleased to offer one of the hard to find, classic Japanese wild ginger cultivars, Asarum 'Tama Rasya' that has thrived in our woodland garden for over a decade. The 3" tall x 1' wide evergreen clumps are clothed with arrow-shaped leaves of dusty light green with muted silver patterns, topped with random small white dots. In mid-October, a peek under the leaves reveals clusters of soft yellow flowers...one of the few fall-blooming wild gingers. Clumping wild gingers like Asarum 'Tama Rasya' can be used as solitary specimens or divided in fall/winter to create larger masses in the shade garden.
