Arum italicum 'Spot On' is a 2021 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction that originated from a Richard Olsen collection from Athens, Greece. The original collection, while having spotted leaves lacked the form and vigor we wanted, so we continued growing seedlings until we were satisfied with the results. Arum 'Spot On' forms a nice 1' tall x 20" wide clump of lovely pointed green leaves, each randomly spotted with large black spots. The plants produce 1' tall green inflorescences in April (NC), followed by stalks of red fruit in mid-spring before going summer dormant.
