Amorphophallus 'Leo Song' is one of the first named selections of Amorphophallus konjac, named after California botanist, Leo Song. Unlike typical forms of Amorphophallus konjac, these stalks are a fleshy tan with tiny black flecks. For us, Amorphophallus 'Leo Song' makes a much tighter clump in the garden than typical Amorphophallus konjac, by offsetting close to the original tuber...quite spectacular. The early May glossy purple inflorescences are identical to the species.
