Amorphophallus 'Green Genes' is a 2022 Plant Delights/JLBG introduction of a Cyrille Claudel cross of two hardy love lilies, Amorphophallus konjac x albus. Amorphophallus 'Green Genes' produces 40" tall green stalks with large, muted black spots toward the bottom, and topped with a 40" wide, beautifully dissected leaf. In late May, the 32" flower stalk opens to reveal a glossy light purple spathe and a darker spadix that exceeds the spathe by 4". Amorphophallus 'Green Genes' is a good offsetter in the garden.
