(aka: Amorphophallus corrugatus PDN001) We are thrilled to offer another of the little-known winter-hardy voodoo lilies. We have grown the Chinese/Thailand native Amorphophallus corrugatus in our garden since 2003, without any winter protection. For us, Amorphophallus corrugatus makes a 4' tall olive green stalk speckled brown, topped with the typical palm leaf-shaped green foliage. When it's large enough to flower, the solitary 3' tall flower stalk of Amorphophallus corrugatus is topped with a hooded flower composed of a grey spathe, speckled brown outside, and creamy white inside with a wine-red base and contrasting very wrinkled white phallic spadix. This is a special clone that we've propagated from cuttings and named Amorphophallus corrugatus 'Mint Julep'.
