Cuter than the proverbial button! From Italy's Valfredda Nursery comes this darling little ajuga that is completely different from anything we have seen. The tiny mounds of narrow, chocolate-colored foliage make a unique background for golds and blues. Ajuga tenorei is a dramatic departure from what you know as ajuga...I think you will find this to be a nice addition to the woodland garden. In early spring, the tiny foliage is topped with matching tiny spikes of dazzling, dark blue-lavender flowers.
