Agave victoriae-reginae 'Sasanoyuki Shiro Fukurin' is a Japanese selection of the Mexican native Queen Victoria century plant we purchased sans name from a grower in China in 2006. We originally sold this under the name Agave victoriae-reginae 'Lunar Eclipse' until we were able to determine its true identity. The 6" tall x 8" wide, fast-offsetting rosettes cluster so tightly that the plant rises in height, forming a 15" tall x 3' wide clump in 5-10 years. Each rosette is composed of thick green leaves, highlighted by white etchings and also an attractive creamy yellow border. Good drainage in both the summer and winter are the keys to success with the Queen Victoria century plant.
