This interesting form of Agave parryi comes from Chihuahua, Mexico...just south of west Texas. This form makes a mostly solitary clump with upright, silvery grey leaves and very long terminal black spines. This form of Agave parryi Chihuahua form looks nothing like the named Agave varieties we've grown. In cold winter climates all century plants should be planted by midsummer where the soil is well-drained and the plant will stay fairly dry in winter.
