Agave x ovatisana 'Sea Star' is a truly exciting hybrid of Agave ovatifolia and Agave parrasana from Dutch agave collector Stef van Dort. Stef selected this seedling from wild-collected seed from Northern Mexico, where Agave ovatifolia and Agave parrasana grow nearby. Agave 'Sea Star' forms a slow-growing, compact 1' tall x 18" wide, rarely-offsetting clump of smooth, thick blue leaves edged with a wide border of creamy gold...simply fantastic!
