Agave mckelveyana is one of the most winter hardy century plant species, hailing from 3000-6000' elevation in western Arizona. Agave mckelveyana forms a small suckering rosette to 12" tall x 12" wide. Each grey green leaf reaches 10" long x 2" wide... great for the dry rock garden. Despite being cold hardy, Agave mckelveyana is extremely sensitive to overwatering, so locate it so that it stays very dry during the winter months.
