For many years, the JC Raulston Arboretum in Raleigh, NC featured a huge Agave havardiana that finally flowered in 2003. The huge 25' tall spike set seed and is the source of our plants. The blue-grey rosette was quite large (3' tall x 5' wide) for A. havardiana, leading us to think that it was possibly a hybrid with Agave scabra. This is a very limited opportunity to obtain offspring of this fine plant.
