(aka: Agave DSBG 1990-0400) Agave x glomeruliflora 'Chisos Affair' is a naturally occurring century plant hybrid of Agave havardiana and Agave lechuguilla, discovered in the Chisos Mountains in Brewster County, Texas. Despite killing many forms of Agave x glomeruliflora through the years, Agave 'Chisos Affair' has proven durable and very easy to grow, forming 15" tall x 2' wide rosettes of 20" long, dusty green, upright, rugged leaves. Agave 'Chisos Affair' makes a fast offsetting 3-4' wide patch in 10 years. Thanks to the Desert Botanical Garden for sharing.
