Agave difformis 'Azul' is a new, wild collection from Northeastern Mexico, with foliage that is much more glaucous blue than anything we've ever seen in this species, which makes us wonder if its not actually Agave albomarginata. The narrow upright foliage, edged in papery teeth, creates small clumps that spread to form a decent sized patch. We have yet to try these in the ground, so hardiness is in question, although other forms of Agave difformis have been fine here, when grown in excellent drained soils.
