This Ian Barclay seed collection comes from California's San Jacinto Mountains (east of Los Angeles) at 3,700' elevation. The parent plant was a huge 3' tall x 4' wide clump of dazzling silvery blue leaves. Agave deserti must have extremely good drainage and protection from winter moisture. Agave flowers attract hummingbirds.
