This small agave, related to Agave striata, can be found hanging from steep volcanic cliffs, up to 7,000' elevation in the southern Mexico state of Morelos. A. dasylirioides is a rarely available relict species that sits precariously on the farthest branches of the agave family tree. Each 18" tall x 2' wide clump is composed on narrow, linear leaves.
