This Mesa Garden collection of Agave chrysantha comes from Black Canyon City, Arizona (north of Phoenix). The 3' tall x 3' wide grey-green rosettes (similar to A. palmeri) are composed of narrow leaves with small spines along the edge. The leaves on this population are more pointed than typical.
