Agastache 'Crazy Fortune' is a fascinating new foliar sport of the popular standard Agastache 'Blue Fortune' (a cross of the North American native Agastache foeniculum with the Korean Agastache rugosa). Discovered in Holland by Arend Jan Gerrit ten Duis, Agastache 'Crazy Fortune' has deliciously anise-scented variegated leaves, which are dark green, highlighted by a central band of greyish/light green, with a narrow string-like irregular white streak between the two colors. In our trials, the leaf pattern is remarkably stable, and the plant performs as well as its parent.
