This delightful selection of the groundcover Ardisia japonica was introduced to the US by plantsman Ted Stephens, who named it after finding it in a consignment-based garden center near Japan's Mizunami City. We think this is a superbly well-behaved form of Ardisia japonica, some larger clones of which can get a bit aggressive in our climate.
