From the Gulf of Mexico region comes another of the truly elegant rain lilies. Similar to Z. reginae, this hard-to-find species has 9" long, dark green foliage and is topped all summer with 10" stems ending in lovely, narrow-petaled, light yellow flowers...each flower lasts 2 days without fading. On the outside of each petal, the light rosy blush adds to the beauty. This species grows well in wet to very dry soils.
