Zephyranthes morrislintii 'Starfrost' is our introduction of an outstanding clone, from the rescued collection of the late rain lily breeder, John Fellers. Zephyranthes morrisclintii, native to Northern Mexico, originated as a ancient natural hybrid between Zephyranthes drummondii and Zephyranthes lindleyana. For us, this is one of the earliest flowering rain lilies after the East Coast native Zephyranthes atamasca and its relatives. The 1' tall stalks of blush pink flowers, first appear in April, and again after rains during the entire spring season.
