(syn: Cooperia drummondii) We adore this Southwest US native, especially when it bursts forth with 15" tall flower spikes, ending in an exquisite creamy white cup... during the hottest part of the summer, usually just following a rain storm. The flowers open in late afternoon with a delicious aroma that warrants a special position near your favorite chair. The narrow olive drab foliage can easily be hidden by other perennials... great when used en masse... WOW!
