    Found by legendary plantsman Harold Epstein of NY in 1969, this dwarf, compact hemlock selection has short black-green foliage that curls inward, creating a very attractive small mound to 20" in 10 years. This is a classic specimen for the rock garden, and should be great for a bonsai subject!
